FitZ in recording studio Feb. 2010
It's cold in Tenn., but hot in the Nashville studio where the Band, "FitZ" is currently
recording their second album, "From the Beginning." Dave Fitzpatrick is the producer and will
play and sing all the songs on the CD. Older brother, Greg, didn't make the trip from
Newfoundland, Canada, due to medical issues. But, he is with us in spirit and has written at
least half the songs on this album. Greg's hit, "Cardboard Condo" from FitZ's first CD, "Out
of the Blue" will be the bonus track on the current album.
This new CD promises faithful fans and the public, exceptional music made in a top-quality
studio with a renown guitar player and engineer, and a keyboard player with a touch of
genius. Greg and Dave's songwriting, as always, is superb, and the music will have a country
flavor and flair, along with a rock/pop edge.

an interview with Dave and Greg last weekend on her "Block Party" show. She's the best!

Feeling FitZ? – Sample the goods!!
FitZ new CD “From the Beginning” was launched at a party over the July holiday weekend. Expectations ran high among
loyal fans that have waited two years since the band’s “Out of the Blue” album.
The new one was produced in Nashville and takes the solid, songwriting talents of Greg and Dave Fitzpatrick up a notch
with music that blends country and classic rock and roll.
To those who grew up with music from the Eagles, Dr. Hook, Bob Seger, Alabama, and the Stones, the new album is
reminiscent of good music for listening and dancing pleasure.
Two of the songs on this new album have had regular airplay on many radio stations in Canada and the states. “Internet
Radio” and “Cardboard Condo” have a fan following and are featured on the new CD.
Radio DJ Joyce Conroy of WHFC in Maryland has been playing FitZ songs on her “Block Party” show for more than a year
now. Six of her lucky listeners are getting autographed CDs as prizes from the band’s Nashville recording promotion in
January.
Greg and Dave were interviewed on Canadian TV last month and have done interviews with “The Compass” newspaper
and many local and national radio spots as well. Those interviews and samples of the new CD’s songs are available here
