A top group with great vocals and music, thus heralds greatness in musicians Dave and Greg Fitzpatrick and "FITZ", as they speak for us all with their dedication, talent and devotion to family. That's sure the case with "FITZ", Dave and Greg... the Brothers Fitzpatrick up in Newfoundland.. A lifetime commitment and a lifelong dream to play and perform, over the last 30 or so years, Dave and Greg, while playing all their own instruments, have admitted (and impressively so), to composing over 1,000 original songs. Their original tunes like "Cardboard Condo" are helping to raise awareness to the plight of the homeless worldwide. This is one song that really stands out and speaks to social injustice and the plight of families left stranded in the night. Other tunes make you smile and forget the troubles of the world we share. They can sound like Johnny Cash to The Beatles, and they can sound like nothing you've heard before. Superb musicians and both great vocalists, "FITZ" has done their time and has paid their dues. Their songs have a tendency to "make you happy" and feel as though you've found a friend in music that writes and performs your thoughts, wishes, hopes and desires. This can only come from years and years of trial by fire and empty bar rooms, full stages and deserted ones. The great songwriters of times past knew to tap into the lifestyles and wants of a generation. Dave and Greg have done that. They hold the keys to the music of the future as in it; it reflects all of our pasts, present and futures to come. Their music speaks for me and you, and for those who dream.
